Pond life...

Today was beautiful and we decided to take a hike down the trail and up to the "power line pond" where we had seen larva under the thin ice this spring.

While she hunted...

He drew...

And after a fresh set of dry clothes they discussed their finds...
Before we hiked the power line trail back home... with a few frog eggs to observe in our glass jar.
A good team they make... working together... each in their own element.
I must remember these days... moments... they are good ones for this brother-sister pair!

Do you have any memories of working together with your siblings?

Oh how i wish we had frogs and the like to look up close at. We've had no success in finding any sign...

It's so lovely to see children enjoy each other's company. Of course I see that in my children too but I've never been close with either of my siblings. Family life wasn't great unfortunately. I'm so happy to be helping break that cycle for my own kids and love seeing other siblings get on so well.

I love to see how your little ones get on together. You are doing a wonderful job of breaking that cycle from where I sit and your kids give me hope.
I wish mine had more moments of working/playing together. That is why I have to hold these moments. Maybe someday they will find a way to be together. Working on it...
