We knew the storm was coming Sunday... and it did... so we headed out to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax on Saturday...

After seeing a full size ventilator Fionna was pointing them out on all of the models. Oh, the fun little tidbits you come by while running through the museum!

The museum has an amazing exhibit about the Titanic since the city of Halifax had such a huge role in the recovery of the victims of the tragedy...
I figure we have about 10 more trips before we see it all... No, it is not a huge museum, it's just that when you run from one really cool thing to another there's not much time for really "seeing" it all....
It was good to get out though and fun to see the waterfront in the winter. We even got to see a crazy seagull inhale a whole starfish... cool!

Wow!! Looks like you had a great day at the museum. Yeh, we know about the storm. It hit us on our way back from the Hockey game in Port Hood. Gosh, I wish you could have added a picture of Wesley's great-great-great-grandfather, Capt. Cunningham of the schooner Billow, who captured the mutineers from the ill fated ship "Saladin". Hope you had a chance to see that exhibit as well. I bet the kids really did love the LEGO exhibit. I know I did when I was there.
